Is artificial grass pet friendly?
Would an Everlasting lawn have any drainage issues?
With an Everlasting lawn there is no need to worry about drainage, artificial lawns drain water naturally – and in some cases, even better. Water simply drains straight through these holes and into the aggregate base below.
In really extreme cases field drain can be installed by the team to ensure it is well drained.
Can it be laid onto an existing solid surface i.e. Tarmac, concrete, flagged areas such as patio's?
One of the main benefits of fake lawns is that you can lay them over practically anything: concrete, tarmac, sand, earth, even decking. However, if the surface isn’t uniformly smooth, for example where you have uneven paving slabs, you will need to stabilise the base or even add an underlay to to make it an even sub base to install on top off.
How much does it cost to have artificial grass installed?
Yes, artificial grass comes with an upfront cost of approx £50 per metre squared installed, but once it’s down, it’s free for the next 15 to 25 years. Once professionally laid onto a solid base it will pay for itself in no time as our customers will tell you in our reviews !!!
What maintenance is required?
Very little!
Just remove debris which falls onto the grass with a leaf blower, rake or a stiff brush which will also realign the fibres and keep the pile in top condition.
How do you join my artificial grass?
With jointing tape and adhesive. The adhesive is applied to the tape and the edges of the grass are firmly pressed onto the tape.
Can artificial grass be laid on a gradient?
Yes it can!
It is fixed at the top first then pinned evenly all down the sides then the bottom to ensure no movement.
Can I lay the artificial grass myself?
You are welcome to purchase and install the the grass yourself. The warranty will cover the grass but not the installation. We always recommend a professional to install the grass. Artificial Grass is a premium product and a wrong measurement or cut can result in a costly mistake.
How long does it take to install an Everlasting lawn?
We complete the majority of residential garden installations within 24-48 hours.
We will be able to give you a definitive timing once we know the full extent of your particular project as each job is different as you can imagine.
